Photograph of a view from the south of Saint Vincent's Hospital, ca.1888. The three-story stately Victorian brick structure has two symmetric wings from the main central structure. Dormer windows punctuate the roof in a line along the entire length of the building. An open tower with a pyramidal roof tops the central structure. Three nurses stand in the curved drive in front near the awning shading the main entry, while an additional three nurses can be seen seated on a wooden bench at right. Small trees and bushes dot the grassy grounds in the foreground.
