Photograph caption dated July 9, 1977 reads, "Los Angeles' entire Metro Division has been assigned to Hollywood in a major effort to clean up the area. There are now 78 sex shops in Hollywood which help to attract prostitutes, pimps, drug pushers and other serious crime problems."
