This is a vintage print signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Grave of murder victim Nicole Brown Simpson, located at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California, shown after O.J. Simpson was found liable for her wrongful death in a civil trial. Flowers and hand-written notes surround the headstone. The largest note reads, "Thank you God, Truth prevails at last! Nicole, We love you. We will not forget you. We pray for your children. Rest in Peace." Photograph dated February 1997.
