Photograph caption dated December 10, 1949 reads, "Unabashed Janice Kirksey, 6 months, poses in lap of great grandmother, 91." The article partially reads, "When it comes to calling someone 'grandma,' little Janice Kirksey of Van Nuys is apt to become a trifle confused. Janice, six-moth-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Kirksey of 8933 Hazeltine Ave., has a total of four living great-grandmothers, four grandmothers and two grandfathers."
