Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the remodeled adobe home of Tomas Sanchez on the Rancho Cienega de la Tiejera in Baldwin Hills, ca.1935. A long, one-story ranch house is pictured from a distance at center, with a large pressbox-style annex rising from its roof. In the foreground, two trees stand at either side of a bench. Separating the two scenes is a length of chickenwire fence and what appears to be a circular dirt road. The home later became the Sunset Hills Golf Course clubhouse, and was the Parkview Womens' Club until 1978. Large remodeled adobe home of Tomas Sanchez. "now sunset Hills Golf Course...was Parkview Womens Club until ca. 1978".
