These photographs are contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Four views of the Portola Celebration parade in San Francisco, 1910. Page 285 top, unlabeled. Photo shows man in costume riding horse, intended to represent Don Gaspar de Portola. Page 285 center, labeled "Portola Celebration" on left and "Conteindials [sic]-Portola Day Celebration" underneath. This photo shows a military formation in Revolutionary War era uniforms, so perhaps Dobbin meant "Continentals." Photo looking northeast on Market from Van Ness. Page 285 bottom, labeled "League of the Cross Cadets Portola Day 1910." Photo shows cadets marching westward. View looks northeast on Market from just west of Polk. The Grand Central Hotel is visible on the left; the Whitcomb Hotel can be seen in the distance on the left. Page 286 top, labeled "Portola Celebration 1910." Photo shows man in Spanish Colonial garb riding a carriage pulled by four horses. This carriage is being driven by a man waering a top hat. View also shows the north side of Market just east of Van Ness.
