Wide view of a vineyard that stretches from the foreground almost to the horizon as seen from the Sunny Slope ranch owned by L. J. Rose in San Gabriel, California. In the distance a thin strip of road is visible between vineyard and more agricultural fields.
Title transcribed from front of photo-mount. Date devised by cataloger; Watkins made two trips to Southern California, in 1877 and 1880. Printed to left of title: "B 4010." and below title: "Watkins' New Boudoir Series Yo Semite and Pacific Coast, 427 Montgomery Street, San Francisco." Image corresponds with Watkins New Series stereo #4810, but title varies.
