Description
Naval (Dress) uniform tunic with one red stripe on the left forearm, two buttons on each cuff, a pocket on the left breast, a drawsting at the bottom and a flap of fabric hanging behind the neck from the collar lapels. There are two white stars stitched onto the back hanging lapel. The buttons each have an anchor symbol imprinted on them. A label underneath the back lapel reads, "Manufactured By Naval Clothing Company," and has a line for the sailor to write his name and his rate. The inside hemline on the bottom of the tunic is stamped twice with: Nelson R. J.
