Bushangaro, Karagwe Diocese, Tanzania, 1991. Gudrun Vest with Maria and Magdalene, the two old, outcast sisters, living with her since 1977 and 1979. For the last 4 years Maria, being bedridden following a brain haemorrhage, needed personal care from mama Gudrun. After death in 1996 she was buried in front of the house in Bushangaro, and in 2003 the sister was buried next to her.
