Description
Photograph of a northwest view of the Malibu pier and lagoon, Santa Monica Bay, CA ca.1925. The pier is visible in the lagoon at distance, beyond a steep cliff that juts into the water at center. A small group of large rocks is on the beach near the cliff, and several small waves are breaking on the shore. A narrow highway follows the contours of the meandering coastline. In the background are two other points that jut out into the water. At right are several large tree-covered mountains.
