View 1 (2010-4876). Saratoga Gap, showing the commencement of the proposed state road to the California Redwood Park. The man holding the stake is on the county line between Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties. No 1 shows the beginning of the San Lorenzo Road to Boulder Creek #2 begining of the California Redwood Park road. Shows dirt road, buildings and rail fences on either side, horse-drawn vehicle on left. Numbers 1, 2 and 3 designate roads.-- view 2 (2010-5389). Saratoga Gap. End of Saratoga Grade. Shows buildings, wagons, trees.
Album was presented to Governor Hiram W. Johnson by Sempervirens Club of California April, 1913.
