Description
Six women and a young man picnic in the San Gabriel Mountains. Some of the women sit on logs while others stand. Cups, plates, food, and a pile of sweaters and hats rest on a wooden chute-like apparatus. On the ground next to it is an opened can of "Pork and Beans." On the right is a wooden wall or fence. Notices with "[illegible] WATER CO." printed at the bottom are nailed to a tree. The names of the picnickers are written on the back of the photograph: "Grace, Miss Pasmore, Miss Guyer, Miss [illegible], Bill Shannon [illegible] master, Berry and Jewell, Davis took the picture."
