Men and women in silk pants, jackets and dresses are pictured on rickshaw-style carts decorated with chinese characters, some of whom have wide wicker hats. In the left foreground, one holding a decorative spear fixes his sandal, while to the right, a lone man in a wide-brimmed hat stands watching him. The women can be seen in the background. Picture file card reads "President McKinley?".
