Photograph caption dated April 11, 1955 reads, "Hopeful of augmenting San Fernando's water supply, workmen Paul Valenzuela and Jack Kent, above, operate cable tool water well drilling outfit at Fourth and Hubbard streets in vicinity of other city wells. They expect new well to produce substantial flow from underground stream that comes from San Gabriel Mountains which flank northeast side of Valley."
