Description
The film is historically significant to members of the Round Valley Indian Tribes in Northern California and others. The film captures local people participating in the Tribal Career Development program in 1975. Shot by a filmmaker named Richard Hawk who was contracted by the US Department of the Interior/ Bureau of Indian Affairs. End Credits: "The producer wishes to acknowledge the participation of the members of the Covelo Indian Community. Film Coordinator: Melba Benson. Narrator: Norman W. Whipple. Indian Education Resource Center. Division of Educational Audio-Visual Services 1977"
