Photograph of an automobile camp under trees, Elysian Park, ca.1930. In the center, the front side of an automobile is seen which is partially covered with a cloth. Next to it, additional automobiles are shown aligned to the left, side by side, towards the background under sycamore trees. To the right corner of the foreground, a tent is shown behind a variety of bushes and small trees. Left of the tent, a wooden table and chair are visible under a large bended tree. Another automobile is parked to the left of the center and a man is sitting next to it. Photoprint reads: "Under the sycamores in Los Angeles' delightful municipal auto camp, thousands of motorists from every State in the Union are accomodated here annually for a minimum charge. Laundry facilities, showers, gas and electricity are installed in the Elysian Park Auto Camp".
