Description
A small group of people carrying their belongings walks over the train tracks. The train passes through desert terrain. The 80's were considered the "lost decade" because of Mexico's debt crisis. This was due to the falling oil prices that left Mexico without foreign currency to pay off its $80 billion debt. This in effect, increased high levels of unemployement, especially in rural areas.
