Description
Removing bloom from newly deposited silver surface, by hand, with wads of cotton, on the mirror of the 100-inch Hooker reflecting telescope at Mount Wilson Observatory. The telscope is visble in much of the photograph; the mirror and scientists are below the telescope. Wooden ladders are visible on teh right-hand side.
