Description
View of the Plaza Church, also known as Our Lady Queen of the Angels or La Iglesia Nuestra Señora de los Angeles, on North Main Street in Los Angeles, California, with horse-drawn carriages and men in front, as seen from across the park in the Los Angeles Plaza. The Banning mansion can be seen on Fort Moore Hill (or Fort Hill) in the background at top right of the Church.

Pierce, Headquarters for Mounted and Unmounted Views, 515 North Main St. --- Los Angeles, Cal." Title transcribed from item. Date approximated by cataloger based on inclusion of Riverside County in advertisement on verso (incorporated in 1893) and general style of image. The church is also known as La Placita Church.
