Description
View of a barbeque held in a large open space in San Pedro on April 26 and 27, 1899. This Harbor Day celebration commemorated the receiving of the first load of rock for the breakwater. The celebration shows people sitting on either side of an open area, with numerous American flags flying, including one large flag on a flagpole. Various horses and carriages are seen.
