Description
Photograph caption dated June 1, 1959 reads "Polytechnic High School will be the scene of an industrial arts exhibit Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the school cafetorium (sic) under sponsorship of the Sun Valley Optimist Club. Rudy Van Deeven, left, past president of Optimist Club, examines cedar chest project built by Dave White, center, as Keith Rodgers, right, instructor, explains construction. Awards will be given to the outstanding craftsmen in drafting, metal work, electricity, auto mechanics, printing and woodwork with judging based on over-all apprearance (sic), workmanship and design."
