"No. 42"--number written on envelope. "Ph. Smalley, Hobart Bosworth, John D. Fredricks, Los Angeles." written on related item photCL 555_06_2569. These names may refer to actor Hobart Bosworth, John D. Fredricks a future United States Representative from California and actor Phillips Smalley. It is unclear if these are the people in the image. Title transcribed from information on original envelope in which negative was received.
