Description
Two Chinese walk between a pair of railroad tracks. They are both carrying large bundles. One of them is using a yoke to carry his goods. Fields of crops can be seen in the distance. Written on the album sleeve of this photograph: "On the railroad between Cheng-chow and the rail head."
This photo is from the papers of Dean Goddard, who was an ABFMS missionary in Ningpo, Che-chiang, China from 1870-1903.
