Whitley C. Collins, president of Radioplane Co. and Northrop Aircraft, Inc., sits inside helicopter for inaugural flight introducing nation's first industrial helicopter service. Helicopter pilot is Theodore Lette. Whirlybird shortens distance between firm's Valley and Anaheim plants. Plane will also be used to haul rush part orders. Photograph dated February 28, 1957.
