Description
This circa 1960 postcard advertises the Mansion Inn, a midcentury modern hotel named for its proximity to the Governor's Mansion. E.A. Corum and Sons built the hotel in 1958 following the design of architectural firm Dreyfuss and Blackford. The hotel's architects received multiple awards for this design in the years following the hotel's opening. This postcard was printed before the 1962/1963 expansion of the hotel which added a number of water features in addition to rooms and larger conference facilities.
