Description
Loyalist mural, Hopewell Crescent, Lower Shankill, West Belfast, 2000. Mural commemorates the closing of Long Kesh/The Maze prison in 2000 after release of last prisoners under Good Friday Agreement; walled H-Block compound guarded by watchtower and surrounded by chain; two clenched fists with manacles in shape of H, breaking the chain; UDA and UFF LPOWs (Loyalist Prisoners of War); 'UYM'.
