Description
This film, presented at the Board's June 1969 meeting, highlights two recent successful programs for promoting California wines throughout the U. S. For the first, the Governor's hamper's program (officially called the California Wine Festival Gift Program) during the U. S bicentennial celebration, Governor Ronald Reagan sent gift baskets of wine to all the U. S. governors. The second, the Wine Symposium of Wine in American Life, features an overview of topics and speakers, along with audio portions of speeches.
