Description
"The fleet of battleships, armored cruisers and the accompanying flotilla of torpedo boats, colliers, and other craft, in command of Rear Admiral Robley D. Evans sailed from Hampton Roads, December 16, 1907. Stops were made at Trinidad, Rio de Janeiro, Punta Arenas, Callao, arriving at Magdalena Bay, Lower California, for target practice, on March 12, 1908." Shows the ships in the White Fleet: Connecticut, Kansas, Louisiana, Virginia, George, Ohio, Illinois, California, Preble, Vermont, New Jersey, Nebraska, Kearsnarge, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Maine, Missouri, and Alabama in San Francisco Bay.
