Description
Sandy (Sandra) Sanders lived not far from us on Clover Heights Road, just south of Harvester Road, where this photo was taken. Sandy's father was a baker in Brentwood. Sandy is holding her cake. I'm to the left, kneeling. Above me is Bob Bohorquez, who is the son of Thelma Bohorquez, Vivian's aunt, and Mildred's sister. Top center is Lynette Sim (white shirt). Just below her is Gail Buchanan (who passed away in her late teens). Just above Sandy to the right is Vicki Newton (hands on Sandy's left shoulder). Susie Sanders is just to the right of Sandy (dark western shirt). Ann Morgan is just to the right of next to the cake on the ground kneeling. Just above her (barely seen in dark hair) is Georgia Buchanan. Sitting in the chair in the back right is Kathy Buchanan (who passed away in 2012). Darrol Smith, pretending to faun on Ann Morgan is on the far right. Darrol passed away in September 1991 of cancer. Sandy later married Arnold Johnson and has four sons. Lynette Sims never married and is a clinical psychologist. Bob Bohorquez never married. Susie Sanders married and has four children living in Oregon. Georgia Buchanan is the only one left in her family today. Darrol married Carrol Rutherford in 1962 and had three children, some grandchildren, and one great grandaughter. I have three children and four grandchildren, which are twin boys (sixteen years old) and twin girls (twenty years old).
