Photograph caption dated July 10, 1964 reads "Pretty 13-year-old Monica T. Wilson of Sherman Oaks is shown at the start of the 1500-meter freestyle swimming event yesterday at the Los Angeles Swim Stadium in the sixth annual L.A. Invitational Swimming and Diving Meet. Patty Caretto, who is also 13, won the event in 18:45.6. A full day of competition is scheduled for today."
