Photograph caption dated December 25, 1950 reads, "First maps - Careful work of first engineers in laying out block pattern of San Fernando shows streets and divisions much as they are today. Harry Waite shows early dividing line of what was then Maclay-San Fernando Rancho and the Porter Land and Water Co. to Mrs. Verlee Moore, secretary. The S. P.
