Photograph caption dated October 7, 1959 reads, "Completes entry - Dana Curtin, North Hollywood Camp Fire Girl, completes entry card for Goodwill Industries Dolly Derby as Mrs. John Curtin, guardian of Te-pa-shuta group, announced her entire group is volunteering to dress dolls for organization. Dolly Derby kickoff in Valley is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Panorama City Goodwill Building, 14565 Lanark St. Jack Linkletter will be master of ceremonies. More than 100 Valley Camp Fire Girls are expected to participate."
