Description
Brochure for Trader Lew's Relic Museum, operated by Lewis D. Bohnett, Jr., at 12860 South First Street, San Jose (3 miles south on Monterey Road). Trader Lew's featured a museum, picnic grounds, social hall and amusement park. "Horseless carriages in running order displayed by Trader Lew include a 1907 Mitchell, a 1907 International two-cyclinder air-cooled roadster, and a 1901 Yale California motorcycle. An ancient gypsy wagon is among the buggies and surreys on display in fully renewed condition." "Trader Lew has traveled to the four corners of the earth to gather the world's finest collection of music boxes. This is the only place on earth you can, under one roof, hear music from Mexican, Italian, German and American 19th century hurdy gurdies..."
