Photograph article dated December 27, 1960 partially reads, "Russia may have more weighty debris in orbit but the United States is more scientifically advanced in the battle to conquer space. This is the opinion of Donald M. May, 54-year-old professional engineer who three years ago organized the nationally heralded San Fernando Moonwatch Station."
