Description
Photograph caption dated October 4, 1963 reads, "Don Drysdale, at left, who will pitch the third World Series game Saturday, leaves the Dodger plane Thursday night at International Airport with Mrs. Drysdale. At right, Sandy Koufax, who won the first game, gives an interview, while Walt Alston looks on. Several hundred people were on hand to greet the team, which has taken first two games of World Series. Many fans missed the airport reception because they were at Dodger Stadium to buy tickets for the next three games. (Other pictures, stories, page 3, sports pages.)"
