Description: A crowd of 25,256 spectators, a new record for an outdoor wrestling match, jammed Gilmore last night to watch Baron Michels Leone and Lou Thesz battle for the heavyweight grunt-and-groan championship of the world. The crowd paid a staggering $103,277 to view the show. Hundreds were left outside the stadium because they couldn't get tickets. Thesz won two falls to capture the title.
