Photograph is a portrait of Claire Mix reclining on the floor, propped up on her elbow with a pair of sunglasses raised up in her right hand. The American Flag is draped over her right shoulder and left leg.
Claire Mix is a musician and was the secretary for the Arts Council of San Jose. See Ted Sahl, From Closet to Community, (2002), p.86, 188.
