Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated October 15, 1949 reads, "Service station at left of fence will be moved, road extended as marked." The article partially reads, "A $1,000,000 change in San Fernando's traffic pattern soon will change San Fernando Road into a one-way street. Southbound traffic will flow curb-to-curb down San Fernando Road, with a four-lane companion highway for northbound traffic now being laid out along the course of narrow Truman St. A new railway depot and the extension of Mission Blvd. through to the lanes of Truman St. are included in the mammoth re-routing projcet [sic]."; See images #00132605 through #00132607 for all photos in this series.
