Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated March 7, 1962 reads, "You mothers who invariably end up responsible for the care and feeding of the family's pets should know about two young men who care for their own, fortunately... The two fellows, Bill Strain and Bob Dugan, figure their Valley home is home also to about 50 pets, give or take a few mallards... And it doesn't include six new, fuzzy, white, pure-bred Siamese kittens. To be entirely accurate, shouldn't Siamese kittens be referred to as Thailand kittens? Anyway, that's one of them at the age of three days, in the photo."
