Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1889-1989 Bill Walton, grabbing a rebound from USC's Ron Riley. The big red-head from San Diego was an integral part of the Bruins' record 88-game winning streak. His brilliant performance during the 1973 NCAA title game--when he converted 21 of 22 shots in the win over Memphis State--remains a collegiate best. Injuries curtailed his professional career, which included several seasons with the Clippers. Photo dated: March 11, 1972.
