Photograph by L. A. Huffman in 1887 of "Old Powder River Days," showing the S L Boys at dinner when the cooks did their work by the open fire, Montana(?), 1887. A group of pioneers sit eating on the ground at center, while a chuck wagon stand behind them to the right, a canopy extending from it over the remains of a campfire. Pup tents and a corral of horses are visible on the hill behind them beyond that, tree-dappled hills are visible on the horizon. Handwriting along the bottom edge of the image reads "Old Powder River Days The SL Boys at Dinner, Where the Cooks Did their Work by the Open Fire".
