Washington: Youths clad in Army fatigues sweep sidewalk as they go about one of the many tasks involved in cleaning up a slum neighborhood here recently. They are part of Pride, Inc., the only anti-poverty project sponsored by the federal government and which is completely controlled and organized by the poor.
