Photograph of a fuchsia plant growing in front of a house, ca.1920. The thick foliage almost completely obscures the porch of the wooden house. A decorative series of holes provides ventilation through the wood slats covering the crawl space under the porch. At right, four or five steps lead up to the porch surrounded by a wood baluster.
