Photograph was edited for publication purposes Jan Clayton was born on August 26, 1917. She was a film, theater, and television actress, appearing in a few films and often on stage. She starred in the television series "Lassie" from 1954-1957. Later in life she appeared on many television programs. Clayton died on August 28, 1983.; Cliffie Stone was born Clifford Gilpin Snyder on March 1, 1917. He was an American country singer, musician, record producer, music publisher, and radio and TV personality. Stone was pivotal in the development of Californias thriving country music scene after World War II during a career that lasted six decades. He died on January 16, 1998. Photograph caption dated December 29, 1955 reads "Entertainers Cliffie Stone and Jan Clayton crown Tom Trissell and Linda Slater king and queen of Holiday Hop teenage dance sponsored by San Fernando Valley Youth Foundation in Van Nuys. Youngsters sold most tickets to affair. Miss Clayton is a director of the foundation."
