This is a photograph of Fr. O'Neill and Sr. Beatrice spending some time with very young children at an orphanage. The children are eating rice from bowls with chop sticks. Rev. O'Neill was born in Narrangansett, RI. He entered Maryknoll in 1928 and was ordained in 1934. He was assigned to Kongmoon, where he remained until 1948, when he took up work with Catholic Relief Services in Canton. Expelled by the Communists in 1951, he was later assigned to Taiwan.
