Description
Photograph of the deteriorating sheep-shearing barn at Guajome Ranch in San Diego, 1870-1880. The long, rectangular adobe building is falling apart. Its terracotta tile roof is sagging in several places, and the tiles have begun to fall off. The walls of the building are not in any better shape: entire sections of wooden walls have fallen down or are broken. The land in the foreground is covered with low brush.
