Photograph article dated July 10, 1948 partially reads, "Alfred Johnson today held the reins of the Sunland-Tujunga Rotary club following installation and demotion ceremonies and 'A Night in Old Hawaii' program. Other officers installed were Dr. R. C. Howe, vice president; Carl Elliassen, treasurer; William Luney, secretary; William P. Ralser, sergeant at arms, and David Fife, George Curtice and Britton Bowker, directors. James Ingham, past district governor, was installing officer."
