Toronto: At a press conference here 1/17, a group of American draft dodgers and deserters rejects 'alternative service' as a condition of amnesty and calls for 'totally non-punitive restoration' of their civil rights if and when they return home to the U.S. The group, said to represent between 70,000 and 100,000 fellow exiled Americans in Canada includes: (l. to r.) Dave Beauchene, N.H.; Dick Burroughs, Texas; Dee Knight, Calif.; Dick Brown, Mich.; Jack Colhoun, N.Y.; Larry Martin, Calif.; Patrick Cook, Kansas.
