Description
Photograph caption dated March 7, 1963 reads, "Dodger sluggers Bill Maas (left) and Tommy Davis display batting grips at Los Angeles' training camp at Vero Beach. The two were recipients of the Louisville Slugger Silver Bat Awards as the top minor and major league hitters last season. Davis topped the seniors with a .346 mark while Maas hit .368 at Reno."
