Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Outside Inn in Topanga Canyon, ca.1915. The inn is at center and is a two-story building with a peaked roof and a rectangular façade. It has a covered porch and an awning over a second story window. The name of the establishment is painted near the top of the façade. An American flag is flying from a pole at center, and an early-model automobile is parked at left. The inn is surrounded by a wide variety of trees. Another building is visible high on a hill behind the inn. Legible signs on the inn include, from left to right: "Coffee and Lunch", and "Canvas Tent Houses for Rent".
